Japan International Cooperation Agency
The world is affected by so many development challenges which have necessitated development organisations and developed countries to step in and supplement efforts to address these challenges. The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is a development agency that implements the Japanese Government's Official Development Assistance in the developing world. To date, JICA has provided bilateral assistance to the developing world through technical assistance, grant aid and Japanese ODA loans. There are 29 JICA offices in Africa serving 54 African countries with the JICA South Africa office serving 7 countries. Furthermore in 2017 JICA is celebrating its 20th year anniversary in South Africa. We look forward to many more years of inclusive and dynamic Development.
